Processing and application of spunlace nonwoven fabrics
    Dec 31, 2024
The spunlace nonwoven process is an advanced fiber processing technology that uses high-pressure water to spray the fiber web so that the fibers are entangled with each other to form a cloth. The entire process includes fiber web formation, pre-wetting, spunlace reinforcement, post-treatment, drying and shaping, curling and cutting. First, fibers such as polyester, viscose, and wood pulp are spread into a uniform fiber web through air or water flow. Then, a pre-wetting treatment is carried out to compact the fiber web and remove the air so that the fiber web can absorb the energy of the water jet more effectively. Then, the fiber web is fed into the spunlace machine, and the high-pressure water jet is sprayed onto the fiber web at a high speed, causing the fibers to displace, intersperse and entangle, forming flexible entanglement points and reinforcing the fiber web. There are three types of spunlace reinforcement methods: flat net, rotating hub, and a combination of the two, which can meet different production needs. The spunlace nonwoven process has the characteristics of environmental protection, high strength, softness, breathability, and adaptability. No chemical adhesives are used, and the environmental performance is excellent; the tightly entangled structure formed by high-pressure water flow gives it high strength and durability; good softness and skin-friendliness are suitable for close-fitting products; the tiny channels between fibers are conducive to air circulation and have good air permeability; it is suitable for a variety of fiber raw materials and can be customized according to customer needs. Spunlace nonwoven fabrics are widely used in medical and health, personal care, household goods and industrial fields. Such as medical supplies such as surgical gowns, masks, bandages, disposable sanitary products such as sanitary napkins and diapers, cleaning supplies such as rags and mops, as well as filter materials, insulation materials, packaging materials, etc. In short, the spunlace non-woven fabric process, with its unique characteristics and excellent performance, has brought convenience to people's lives and work in many fields.
